Sealers and Solvents

Protect and present your concrete with a leading range of sealers and solvents designed by Designer Concrete Coatings and tested to work perfectly with our coatings, stamping and stencilling. These products help cure and protect new concrete, improve cleanability, and preserve the original aesthetic.

Our sealer range

Clear Concrete Sealer: Proven performance for foot and vehicle traffic, resistant to weather and sun exposure. Ideal for patterned and stamped concrete because it keeps the surface clean so the decorative detail stands out.

Clear Sealer Base with Colour Tinter: Tint our clear base to refresh grey or dated patterned concrete. Delivers uniform colour and protection in one system.

Prime and Seal Concrete Sealer: First coat for freshly laid concrete. Aids curing, primes the surface, and prepares for a second coat of Decorative Concrete Sealer or High Build Sealer. Helps protect against weathering and improves cleanability.

Two Component Waterborne Polyurethane: Hard wearing, chemical and stain resistant. Suited to areas where oil or spills are common. Ideal for garages, commercial floors and shops. Helps maintain the aesthetic performance of concrete over time.

Penetrating and densifying

Supa Impregnation: Water repellent and resistant to corrosive elements. Suitable for concrete, natural stone and masonry where you want durable protection without changing the natural look.

Concrete Densifier: Treats old concrete that shows softening, dusting or chalking. Densifies and hardens the surface to extend service life and improve appearance.

Surface care, solvents and remedial products

Solvent: Assists sealer penetration when required before the final coat. Can also thin and reflow a compatible existing sealer so the fresh layer achieves better adhesion.

Repsol: Addresses moisture blush when a freshly placed sealer turns white or milky. Draws moisture from the sealer. Also recommended as a pre treatment on previously sealed surfaces prior to resealing.

Tyre Mark Remover: Removes tyre marks from sealed decorative surfaces, ideal for driveways and busy vehicle areas.

Paint Stripper: Removes acrylic copolymer sealers from coloured concrete that needs to be stripped prior to resealing.

Application and maintenance

  • Select the right system for the slab condition, exposure and traffic.
  • Prepare the surface well, including cleaning, repairs and compatibility checks.
  • Consider non slip additives where safety is a priority.
  • Plan periodic resealing to preserve colour, gloss and protection.
